Job Description
Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions of a busy finance department. This position will assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, reconciliations, and general accounting support. Responsibilities
+ Process and enter accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
+ Review invoices for accuracy, coding, approvals, and supporting documentation
+ Assist with vendor payments, check runs, and payment processing
+ Enter customer payments and maintain accurate receivable records
+ Reconcile bank statements, vendor statements, and general ledger accounts
+ Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation
+ Assist with invoice matching, purchase orders, and expense reports
+ Research and resolve billing, payment, and account discrepancies
+ Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments regarding accounting questions
+ Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
+ Support payroll, billing, collections, or other accounting functions as needed
+ Prepare basic reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel
+ Assist with filing, scanning, data entry, and general administrative duties
+ Provide additional support to the accounting and finance team as needed Requirements 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or administrative experience preferred Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable working with confidential financial information Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
