ACCOUNT CLERK II

The City of Chippewa Falls is accepting applications for a full-time Account Clerk II for the Finance Department. This position is responsible for assisting the Accounting / Payroll Specialist in maintaining the accounting records of the City and assisting the Finance Manager / Treasurer in other key financial operations of the City including tax collections, purchasing and annual budget preparations. This position also assists in processing bi-weekly payroll and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

Associate Degree with a major in Accounting, Business, Finance, Human Resources or related subject and at least three years of experience in a similar responsible position in either a governmental, non-profit or private firm or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Wage is $26.01 - $27.60 per hour depending on qualifications.
