Job Description
America's Service Line, LLC, an American Foods Group Company and a sister Company to America's Logistics, LLC has an opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in beautiful Green Bay, Wisconsin. As an Accounting Assistant you will be responsible for accounting and clerical tasks and analysis as it relates to the processing of a variety of accounting transactions and systems maintenance If you are looking to advance your career, join the AFG family where you can be a part of providing quality beef products to over 40 countries around the world. As an Accounting Assistant, you will:
- Process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices and employee expense reports.
- Maintain vendor files, including 1099 and W-9 documentation.
- Reconcile daily/month-end accounts payable totals.
- Follow-up on vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare customer invoices and credit memos, as necessary.
- Respond to customer invoice inquiries.
- Assist Administrative staff with front desk and mail duties as needed.
- Recognize areas for process improvement in relation to accounting methods and procedures.
- Participate on department projects as assigned.

- Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- High school diploma or GED achieved.
- Possess exemplary communication skills - written and verbal
- Demonstrate strong organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Must be familiar and able to work with Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and strong Excel skills required, specifically sorting and filtering.
- Willing and able to work overtime, as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting.
