Job Description

Bookkeeper Wisconsin leading Lumber Mill based out of Marquette County seeking a well experienced, part-time, in office bookkeeper dedicated to the excellence in the Lumber manufacturing industry. If you are a detailed-oriented professional with a passion for numbers, we invite you to apply and become a part of our committed organization. This position is responsible for the reporting of the organization's financial health. This person supports executive management by providing financial advice and insights to make future business decisions.
This employee duties include:
Financial reporting: Documenting and communicating financial performance and activities over time periods
Accounts Receivables:
Draft and submit customer invoices, maintain customer aging reports review and process all company and supplier waivers, sworn statements, AIA billing and prevailing wage calculations
Accounts Payables:
Review monthly expenses and schedule for payments according to due dates
Reconciliation Reports:
Balance all bank and credit cards statements for accuracy
Budgeting:
Provide to management reports necessary for planning the company's financial resources and maintain set budgets throughout the year.
Forecasting:
Provide to management possible financial forecasts Investment activities: Direct investment activities and analyze markets for business opportunities Long-term financial goals: Assist management in drafting the organization's long-term financial goals
Payroll:
Run companywide payroll and track data on weekly basis
Profitability:
Run job costing reports for management review and investigate ways to improve profitability
Company Expenses:
Control company overhead expenses, not limited to; business and medical insurance policies, property maintenance and marketing budgets Record keeping: Collect, organize and store financial records, such as cash flow statements, and profit and loss statements
Tax Preparation:
Prepare reports for managers and trail balances to assist accountants
Communication:
Back up phone assistant to company administrator Some skills that are important for role include: Strategic and analytical skills Strong attention to detail Trustworthy Strong organization skills Tech-savviness Adaptability Strong communication skills
Experience Required:
  • Several years of prior bookkeeping experience in a finance role is mandatory
  • Prior experience with Quickbooks is mandatory
  • Managing prevailing wage reports not required, yet helpful
Pay Salary and Hours Expected:
  • $20
  • $30 per hr (dependent upon experience)
  • Approximately 20 hours per week
