In this vital role, you will manage the company's outgoing payments, ensure accurate processing of invoices, and maintain strong financial controls in compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) requirements. Your expertise in various accounting software and financial concepts will support our commitment to precise financial management, timely vendor payments, and overall fiscal integrity. Duties Process and verify a high volume of accounts payable transactions using multiple accounting software platforms such as Net Suites and QuickBooks. Review and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Perform account reconciliation tasks on the general ledger to maintain accurate financial records and support month-end closing activities. Manage vendor relationships by resolving discrepancies, responding to inquiries, and maintaining up-to-date vendor files. Assist with data entry tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of payments through systems like ADP, Kronos, Ceridian, or other payroll management tools. Support internal controls by adhering to SOX compliance standards during all financial transactions and documentation processes. Prepare journal entries related to accounts payable activities and assist with audit requests by providing detailed documentation on transactions. Experience Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of GAAP principles. Hands-on experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Net Suites Knowledge of technical accounting concepts including account reconciliation, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and balance sheet reconciliation. Strong data entry skills with high accuracy (10 key typing) along with excellent math skills for account analysis and financial calculations. Ability to interpret financial concepts related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, tax experience, and budget management is highly valued.
