Job Description

Job Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is a detail-oriented individual that controls and monitors company payments for goods offered to clients. They generate revenue for the company by ensuring that clients are properly billed for goods or services. They work with other departments to ensure that the correct amounts are collected in a timely manner, verify and record transactions, resolve account discrepancies, and perform other tasks to secure client payments.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (or Associate's degree with commensurate experience) in accounting, finance, or related. 2+ years' experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist, or similar (4+ years if Associate degree). Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (ARS) certification preferred.
