We provide agricultural products, home and garden supplies, pet and animal health products, outdoor recreation items, and a rapidly growing energy division serving both residential and commercial customers. Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented bookkeeper for our Ronceverte location. In this position you will perform a variety of bookkeeping and business office functions for a farm supply and petroleum business. Assist management and staff, vendors, customers and sales team with inquiries regarding daily operations Key Responsibilities General Office and Bookkeeping Duties Effectively perform various office bookkeeping duties and system reconciliation Assist management with the paper flow from daily operations Receive and process delivery tickets, work orders and purchase orders for a variety of products and related services Verify incoming and outgoing invoices for accuracy and pricing Support accounts receivable billing, preparing and distributing invoices in a timely manner. Match purchase order to delivery tickets ensuring actuate accounts payable transactions Answer primary business phone and email account Qualifications Required High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 1 year of bookkeeping and office experience Customerfocused communication skills, Familiarity with agricultural industry helpful About Freedom Ag & Energy Cooperative Inc Freedom Ag & Energy is a farmer-owned cooperative with multiple locations in Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland, each with a rich tradition of serving the agriculture and energy needs of their communities.
