Overview Build Your Leadership Career We're seeking an experienced Associate Broker who is looking to expand their career beyond traditional residential real estate sales. This is a full-time, salaried position offering the opportunity to work closely with the Broker/Owner while gaining hands-on experience in residential brokerage, property management, HOA management, company operations, and organizational leadership. Position Summary The Associate Broker will work closely with the Broker/Owner to support brokerage operations while developing a comprehensive understanding of every aspect of the business. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth and increasing responsibility over time. The successful candidate will gain experience across brokerage operations, compliance, property management, association management, business operations, and leadership. Responsibilities Brokerage Operations Support daily brokerage operations. Assist with transaction compliance and quality control. Help maintain brokerage policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to licensed agents. Promote professionalism and ethical business practices. Assist the Broker/Owner with brokerage compliance and operational initiatives. Property Management Assist with oversight of residential property management operations. Support leasing procedures and compliance. Review management agreements and leasing documentation. Help resolve operational challenges. Collaborate with department leaders to improve workflows and consistency. HOA & Association Management Assist with association operations and governance. Support board communications and administrative procedures. Help improve operational consistency across managed associations. Company Operations Partner with the Broker/Owner on strategic initiatives. Help improve operational efficiency across all departments. Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements. Participate in planning and company growth initiatives. Leadership Support recruiting and onboarding efforts. Mentor licensed agents and team members. Help foster a collaborative and accountable culture. Contribute to ongoing professional development initiatives. Review contracts and transaction documentation. Assist with transaction compliance and quality control. Help maintain brokerage policies and procedures. Provide guidance and support to licensed agents. Promote professionalism and ethical business practices. Assist the Broker/Owner with brokerage compliance and operational initiatives. Qualifications Required Active Alabama Associate Broker License in good standing. Three or more years of experience as a licensed real estate professional preferred. Strong understanding of Alabama real estate contracts and brokerage practices. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. High ethical standards and professional integrity. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Residential property management Residential leasing HOA or condominium association management Transaction management Team leadership Business operations Recruiting or mentoring Process improvement Buildium Dotloop Google Workspace This is not a traditional brokerage position focused solely on sales production. You'll work directly with the Broker/Owner while gaining hands-on experience in brokerage operations, property management, HOA management, compliance, strategic planning, and business operations. $40,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
