Based in Boston, the firm operates a robust, vertically integrated platform comprised of over 50 dedicated professionals. This extensive team, augmented by regional offices in the metropolitan New York City, Mid-Atlantic, and Southeast areas, leverages deep expertise across all facets of the real estate lifecycle, including acquisitions, development, asset management, and property management. The firm's primary investment vehicles are focused on executing a value-add strategy through two substantial funds: Fund IV, a $650 million investment vehicle, and Fund V, an investment vehicle currently in fundraising with a target hard cap of $875 million. The firm strategically targets opportunities within the industrial, multifamily, and other select asset classes, with a clear mandate to create value, enhance margins of safety, and maximize risk-adjusted returns for their investors.

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an Associate tojoin their Investments Team in Boston, to support underwriting, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management. As part of the Investments Team, the candidate will work on all aspects of the investment process through a cradle-to-grave approach(acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions) across all regions where the firm invests .

Key Responsibilities:

Acquisitions/Dispositions Perform extensive underwriting and detailed quantitative analyses for prospective investments using ARGUS and Microsoft Excel Construct complex joint venture promote structures to determine partnership and fund-level returns Tour markets/properties, research market conditions, analyze market data, and assist in due diligence Prepare investment committee memoranda to summarize key aspects of opportunities Manage investment acquisition and disposition closing processes Track and manage the internal deal pipeline report Portfolio Management Assist in on-going analysis of portfolio by managing pro-form as, tracking significant events, and identifying opportunities to optimize returns at the asset level Conduct hold, sell, refinance and various other analyses Create fund and asset-level reports for internal management and external investors Support creation of asset business plans and monitor portfolio investment performance

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record 1-4 years of real estate experience in investment banking, private equity, or commercial lending/brokerage Superior quantitative and financial modeling skills, and proven analytical abilities in real estate, with a required high-level of proficiency in ARGUS and Microsoft Excel Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Demonstrated track record of high achievement in demanding professional settings Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly, work both independently and as a team member, and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized and efficient manner Significant desire to develop a comprehensive understanding of real estate investing and operations

Salary:
Base Salary Range:

$90,000 - $135,000 Eligible for bonus Compensation will be based on experience and include a bonus and benefits.
