Job Description We are seeking a Grant Fiscal Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in grant budgeting, Excel-based financial analysis, and stakeholder collaboration and a proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar grant funds in compliance with agency and program requirements .
Responsibilities:
Support budget planning and execution for grant programs. Produce accurate budget updates and reports using spreadsheets and advanced Excel functions. Partner with internal departments to deliver responsive customer service and financial guidance. Coordinate with external sub-grantees to collect data and reconcile budget updates. Assist with procurement activities, including creating purchase orders and processing invoices. Ensure grant expenditures align with applicable policies, controls, and timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, or 2+ years of relevant work experience. Proficiency with Excel and spreadsheets, including data analysis and reporting. Experience managing large budgets, including multimillion-dollar grant funds. Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external sub-grantees.
Preferred Skills:
Government or education sector grants experience. Familiarity with procurement workflows, purchase orders, and invoice processing. Why BCforward?
