• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the 624 RSG, ensuring that the financial management operations complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Represents 624 Regional Support Group with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• Oversees and directs budget formulation and execution and financial services work.
• Conducts analysis, reviews and special studies of budget and/or related information.
• Uses automated budgetary systems and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments.

PCS IS PAID BY GAINING UNIT

This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Incumbent shall comply with these requirements This is a Mission Essential (ME) position performing a Mission Critical Function (MCF) which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and (Cont.) continued through full resumption of all functions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-11, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes Provides management oversight for activities assigned to the financial management section of the 624 RSG and provides fiscal oversight, budget analysis, and chief financial advisory services for the operational budget. This position is responsible for the functions of the 624 RSG Financial Analysis and Financial Services offices.

Detailed, extensive knowledge of the agency budget policies, precedents, regulations, and guidelines and the missions, functions, goals, objectives, work processes, and sources of funding pertinent to reserve command programs/organizations. 2. Knowledge of the requirements, techniques, procedures, and practices of generally accepted accounting principles and standards. 3. Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, principles, practices, and procedures. 4. Knowledge of internal audit procedures to monitor financial services and establish internal controls. And ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of small to medium sized organization. 5. Knowledge of resource allocations and fund control procedures; cost estimating, economic analysis, and statistical techniques. And knowledge of automated budget and financial management systems, and basic computer applications applicable to financial management operations. 6. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
