BUDGET ANALYST - OPERATIONS

Role:
This position will direct and oversee financial performance and productivity for the Campus Services Leadership Team. Integrates operations, computer science, informatics, and financial systems to identify, collect, process, analyze, and manage data and information to drive administrative practice, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity in order to improve financial and operational performance. Also responsible for capital planning activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees capital planning activities working closely with directory and senior staff to support building capital budget for all areas excluding information technology. Works with Strata, the finance team, and the capital budget analyst to ensure capital work flows are working appropriately. Provides year end estimations for capital spend and depreciation for all areas of responsibility to the finance leadership team Effectively manages the budget submission and budget variance reporting processes for the Campus Services Division. Supports the development of individual Department budgets with respective leaders during the annual Operating Budget build. Compiles and analyzes data necessary to assess the needs and costs to achieve fiscal goals.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience:
5 to 7 years of accounting, business operations or finance support. Infor and Strata experience preferred Salary dependent on years of experience and internal equity: $83 to $85
