Job Overview The Program Financial Partner serves as a strategic liaison between Finance and Program Operations, providing data-driven insights, financial planning, and decision support to enhance program performance and sustainability. Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role leads budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for assigned program portfolios while ensuring compliance with funding requirements and organizational financial goals. The Program Financial Partner will also be responsible for the timely preparation and submission of external reporting requirements required by the various Agency funding grants. As an integrated health organization Acenda values the use of evidence-based practice or EBP's.
Key Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and is responsible for providing financial oversight, analysis, and forecasting support for assigned program portfolios. Leads and supports the development of the agency's overall budget document, including individual cost centers, providing advice and analysis to increase the accuracy the annual agency and cost center budgets. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned program/cost center portfolios between the Finance Department and Program Operations leadership and the Infrastructure leaders. Advise and collaborate with Program Leadership regarding their program/cost center budgets, variance analysis, trend analysis, forecasting, scenario modeling, financial interpretation, and day-to-day decision-making. Monitor spending across cost centers to ensure alignment with approved budgets and funding requirements. Deliver actionable recommendations to improve program/cost center's fiscal efficiency based on interpretation and organization of financial information. Ensure financial compliance with grant, contract, and regulatory requirements, including preparation and timely submission of contract renewal documents, contract modification documents, expenditure reports, and alignment of program spending with funding guidelines. Attend and actively participate with Program Leadership in various funding provider meetings as needed. Contribute to the development and enhancement of financial policies, procedures, and reporting tools. Assist with projecting future financial needs and collaborates with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to prepare long-term financial plans, and other budget and financial reports. Develops, organizes, and maintains files, documents, and materials relating to budgetary practices according to agency's policies. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Budgeting, Accounting, or related field. 2-4 years of relevant financial analysis, budgeting, or grant/contract finance experience. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Must be able to exercise independent thinking and good judgment under all circumstances. Must be able to analyze work, set goals, develop plans and utilize time effectively and efficiently
Additional Information:
Starting Base Rate:
$53,000 Bilingual rate: An additional $3,120 added to the base rate if Spanish proficient
