Financial Manager/Comptroller I Annual Salary:
Level I D33A $70,000.00 +
Full State Employee Benefits Minimum Qualifications Level I:
Completion of the curriculum requirements for a bachelor's degree in business or public administration, or a closely related field; and five (5) years of experience in professional accounting, or closely related work; including two (2) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity; OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Developing and managing personnel and operating budget
  • manages assigned division budget, coordinates with division on personnel and operating budget activities, develops and prepares annual budget work program. Reviewing budget funding requests for merit and authenticity
  • reviews budget funding requests, validates grants awarded and funding sources, and approves budget. Reviewing and approving expenditures and obligations
  • review and approve purchase requisitions and eligible expenditures. Preparing budget analysis reports and budget estimate
  • reviews budget to actual expenditure report and variance analysis. Ensuring compliance with established budget controls and business processes
  • assist in establishing and implementing budget controls in accordance with budget policies and state statute as well as Federal regulatory.
Ability to build and maintain Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, use common Microsoft Excel formulas, and create pivot tables to analyze large volumes of data for budget analysis and to identify variances. variances. ______________________ If you have questions, please contact OKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer.
