Job Description:
Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst . who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The FP&A Analyst position contributes to the Hitachi Rail Global Strategy implementation by providing all the financial planning, collection and analysis in relation to the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flows, and related areas of the company. The FP&A Analyst must also cooperate with Head of FP&A - North America in order to achieve goals based on targets & deadlines issued by Group Consolidation & Reporting. Accountabilities Ensure accuracy and completeness of Budget and Forecast information based on defined deadlines; Updates the planning model in order to provide economic and financial long-term data; Monitor, measure and analyze business performance related to all operating activities and coordination with all stakeholders in local legal entity in order to ensure the accomplishment of organizational goals; Perform analysis regarding P&L, Balance Sheet and statistical information (orders, backlog, capex, etc) through the elaboration of monthly Sales & Projects geographic area/Line of Business (LoB) actual reporting; Ensure proper and accurate reporting of order intake and project backlog; Collect
CAPEX, R
D and Cost Center group data in order to ensure proper OneStream LE reporting; Provide 'ad-hoc' reports as required by executive management team and the Group FP&A team in order to monitor LE performance.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Bachelors in accounting, Business Administration, and/or Finance 5 plus years of experience in a similar or related position. Knowledge of accounting and project management principles and strong analytical skills Expertise with ERP information systems, particularly S4/HANA (modules
FI, CO, MM
) & OneStream in a manufacturing environment (strongly preferred). Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite (especially Excel); Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Final pay is determined by the candidate's experience, skillset and ability level, internal equity and location.
