As a Budget Analyst I, you will: Provide budget and financial analysis for the College of Engineering Dean's office. Review and analyze overall College and department budgets to aid in decision making processes. Perform ad hoc analysis of financial data for dean-level decision-making. Troubleshoot budget and financial commitment issues, understanding the complex requirements of each fund type and providing advice to unit leaders. Reconcile and monitor financial status of college funds on a monthly basis including state, revolving, and foundation accounts. Assist with the development of the annual operating budget, day-to-day operating budget, and the update and maintenance of SAP Org Management. Represent interests in college and university committees and task forces. Be administratively responsible to the Assistant Dean of Business and Financial Affairs, Following an initial training period of up to six months, this position may become eligible for a hybrid work schedule, with four days in office and one day remote each week. Hybrid arrangements are subject to supervisor approval and are determined based on operational needs.
