Responsibilities Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of budget execution documents (maintain recurring reports that track and forecast spending at the program and component level) Managing the collection, validation and update to financial execution data to the budget execution database (Unliquidated contract funding management, reconciliation of payments and invoices, and closeout functions) Conduct program budget execution reviews; analysis of program spending and component requirements as required Prepare, coordinate and transmit funding documents to support program efforts; produce briefing charts Monitor major program-level contracts and provide data and/or recommendations to support funding decision Monitor key support in the development and implementation of a requirement validation and prioritization process for the program office Skills Required 24 hours of college level quantitative courses and a calculus course Excellent verbal communication, written, and quantitative analytical skills Proficient in the use of M/S office applications, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Must be able to work in a team environment Successful candidates must possess and/or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret and/or Top Secret clearance. U.S. citizenship required. Working knowledge/Interest to learn the desired skills and experience: DoD financial systems such as CRIS, SCRT, CCaR, ABSS and MOCAS DoD Acquisition and Budgeting process, Air Force Financial Management process, Air Force Accounting and payment systems and Reimbursable funds management Analytical experience providing decision support to senior DoD management and validation experience supporting the budgeting and programming processes within DoD and the demonstrated ability to develop new or enhance existing products/process to improve operations Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
