Everforth ECS Federal is seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our team supporting federal financial management operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in government financial planning, budgeting, and execution processes.
ResponsibilitiesAssist financial analysts with federal financial planning, programming, budgeting, and financial execution activitiesSupport the development and analysis of budget documentation, including contributions to the president's budget and program objective memorandumHelp prepare responses to congressional inquiries and other stakeholder requestsLearn and utilize the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) financial management and accounting systemCompile and organize financial data for reporting and analysisParticipate in budget cycle activities and documentation preparationAssist with data entry, reconciliation, and financial record maintenanceSupport the team with administrative tasks and special projects as assignedCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team environment
