Work directly with the Finance, Investment, Endowment, Audit, and Risk Management Committees of the board to develop policies and monitor their implementation and operation Monitor and coordinate the preparation of financial reports for management, finance committee, granting agencies, YUSA, and governmental agencies when requested Manage the investment of operating cash, reserves, and capital funds to maximize investment earnings Review, update, and develop internal control systems for the Association Coordinate finance committee meetings with committee chair Manage accounting, finance, and payroll department Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws Develop, maintain responsive, and cooperative relationships with auditors, bankers, vendors, and other professional advisors to the Association Coordinate preparation of annual audited financial statements in accordance with GAAP Coordinate the preparation of the annual IRS 990 Provide oversight relating to the development of policies and procedures relative to assigned areas of responsibility Coordinate the implementation of new technology, including hardware and software programs Analyze financial information and develop strategies for recommendation to the CEO and/or finance committee Develop budget planning cycle and timeline.
