EMPLOYEE STOCK OWNERSHIP PLAN

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for directing and overseeing the company's financial activities, including financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic financial analysis. The CFO partners with executive leadership to support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term financial stability.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the company's financial strategy and long-term planning initiatives Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting functions Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and capital requirements Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and tax regulations Manage audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and advisors Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to executive leadership Support strategic planning, acquisitions, investments, and business development initiatives Oversee payroll, benefits, finance coordination, insurance renewals, and risk management activities as applicable Lead and mentor accounting and finance team members Provide financial insight to improve operational efficiency and profitability Participate in board meetings and prepare financial presentations as needed Ensure compliance with lending agreements, covenants, and reporting obligations
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in the Automotive industry preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Experience managing audits, banking relationships, and financial controls Advanced proficiency in accounting and ERP systems Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Strategic planning and business analysis Financial modeling and forecasting Risk management and compliance Team leadership and staff development Process improvement and operational efficiency Mergers and acquisitions experience (if applicable)
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required MBA preferred Minimum 5 years of progressive financial leadership experience Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills. Must possess a strong analytical background with strong reporting skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite/Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management capabilities. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is not mandatory, but it is a plus!
