Type:
full-time Bay area candidate with strong SaaS CFO experience required. This is 3-4 days/week in San Francisco. Fast-growing SaaS approaching $300 million ARR is seeking an experienced CFO to guide the company to the billion dollar revenue mark and a potential IPO. This role will oversee a staff of 20, including all accounting, tax, and finance. The CFO will report to the CEO and be a trusted business partner for all strategic decisions. The ideal candidate will own financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, accounting, audits, compliance, investor relationships, and bank relationships. Collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management, and specifically in SaaS. Responsibilities Create and present financial strategy recommendations to CEO Oversee all finance, accounting and tax, including 20 professionals Support the financial planning and analysis efforts Oversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits Ensure legal compliance on all financial functions Manage relationships with banks and investors Oversee the creation of and expansion of scalable financial processes Qualifications Strong finance-based analytical skills 16+ years experience in finance, including at least one true CFO role Extremely strong, recent SaaS experience Leadership experience in a SaaS with at least $200 million in ARR, and experience growing a company to higher revenue CPA or MBA preferred but not required
