Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Branford, CT (Onsite)Salary:
$225,000 – $250,000 + bonus + strong benefits Why This Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Position? Executive leadership role with direct visibility to CEO and Board of Directors Opportunity to shape financial strategy within a well-established healthcare organization High-impact position overseeing both strategic planning and day-to-day financial operations Stable, mission-driven environment with strong community presence Collaborative executive team with a focus on long-term growth and operational excellence Key Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash management Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team on financial planning and decision-making Oversee revenue cycle management, including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and payor strategy Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal controls Present financial results, forecasts, and strategic initiatives to the Board of Directors Oversee accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting Drive process improvements, cost optimization, and financial system enhancements Lead audits, tax filings, and external financial relationships (banks, auditors, etc.) Preferred Qualifications of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred) 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within healthcare or nonprofit Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement models and regulatory environment Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and Board-level stakeholders Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across the organization Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and tactically #LI-OR1 #LI-Hybrid #INAPR2026
