110k -140k A nonprofit organization based in Derby, CT is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide senior‑level financial leadership with an immediate focus on audit preparation, federal grant accounting, and financial oversight. This is a high‑impact opportunity for a proven Chief Financial Officer with deep nonprofit experience who can step in as a strategic and hands‑on finance leader. The Chief Financial Officer will play a critical role in strengthening financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting leadership through audit readiness and reporting requirements. Prior experience at the Chief Financial Officer level Strong nonprofit finance background Extensive experience with audits and audit preparation Expertise in federal and grant accounting and reporting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proven ability to lead, advise, and communicate at the executive level #INMAY2026
