Job Description Role Description Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bowling Green, KY. The CFO will lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-term financial planning. This role will oversee the preparation, accuracy, and integrity of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. The CFO will partner with executive leadership and Owner to guide strategic decisions, evaluate investments, and support business growth initiatives. Daily responsibilities include managing finance team members, monitoring key performance indicators, developing financial controls and policies, and presenting clear financial insights to stakeholders. Qualifications Strong financial planning and budgeting skills, including experience with forecasting and long-term financial strategy. Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial statements and financial reporting. Solid foundation in corporate finance, including capital allocation, cash flow management, and risk management. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred. Progressive leadership experience in senior finance roles, ideally within a growth-oriented or mid-market organization. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams and collaborate effectively with executive leadership. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on clarity and transparency. Comfort with financial systems, reporting tools, and data analysis software; experience improving financial processes and controls.
