reviews $125,000•$150,000 a year•Full-time About the Opportunity We are a growing, physician-led multi-specialty dermatology and cosmetic practice seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. This is a strategic leadership role for a hands-on financial executive who can help drive growth, improve operational and financial performance, optimize profitability, and build the infrastructure necessary to support continued expansion. The ideal candidate will have direct experience within physician practices, medical groups, dermatology, aesthetics, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, dental, or other outpatient healthcare organizations. Candidates whose experience is primarily hospital-based will not be a fit for this position. Position Summary The CFO will work closely with ownership and senior leadership to develop financial strategies, identify growth opportunities, improve operational efficiencies, enhance reporting and analytics, and support long-term strategic initiatives. This individual will be expected to function as both a strategic advisor and an operational leader, utilizing data-driven decision-making to improve practice performance. Key Responsibilities Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities. Develop and maintain meaningful operational and financial KPI dashboards. Analyze provider productivity, scheduling efficiency, service line performance, and profitability. Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve margins, and optimize resource utilization. Evaluate profitability by provider, location, and service offering. Oversee revenue cycle performance, collections, reimbursement trends, and cash flow management. Develop financial models to support growth initiatives, provider recruitment, capital investments, and expansion opportunities. Assist in designing compensation and incentive structures that align with organizational goals. Partner with leadership to improve operational efficiency and financial performance throughout the organization. Strengthen financial controls, policies, and reporting processes. Support strategic initiatives, including expansion, acquisitions, partnerships, and organizational growth planning.
Required Qualifications Must Have:
CPA, MBA, MHA, or similar advanced credentials. Minimum of 10 years of progressive healthcare finance leadership experience. Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial leadership role (CFO, VP Finance, Director of Finance, or equivalent). Direct experience working with physician practices, medical groups, MSOs, dermatology groups, aesthetic practices, plastic surgery groups, ophthalmology groups, dental organizations, or similar outpatient healthcare settings. Experience managing financial operations for multi-provider and preferably multi-location organizations. Strong understanding of healthcare financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Demonstrated experience improving profitability, operational performance, and financial outcomes. Experience analyzing provider productivity, compensation models, and practice performance metrics. Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management and healthcare reimbursement processes. Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications Dermatology experience. Cosmetic dermatology, aesthetics, med spa, or plastic surgery experience. Experience supporting organizational growth, expansion, acquisitions, or private equity-backed healthcare organizations. Experience building scalable financial systems and processes within a growing healthcare organization. Pay:
$125,000.00•$150,000.00 per year
