The Impact You'll Make As our CFO, you'll be the financial architect of our future. You won't just manage numbers, you'll shape strategy, drive profitability, and ensure our financial foundation is as strong as the structures we build. Your leadership will empower our teams to make data-driven decisions, optimize cash flow, and position us for sustainable growth in a competitive market. What You'll Do Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management, with a focus on construction-specific challenges like job costing and progress billing. Oversee project financial performance, ensuring accurate cost tracking, margin analysis, and timely reporting for multiple concurrent builds. Partner with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term growth strategies, including capital planning and investment opportunities. Implement and refine financial systems and controls to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. Manage relationships with banks, bonding companies, auditors, and key stakeholders. Provide clear, actionable insights to project managers and department heads to support operational excellence. What You'll Bring Proven experience as a CFO, Controller, or senior finance leader in the construction industry (commercial, civil, or industrial). Deep knowledge of construction accounting principles, including WIP schedules, retainage, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition. Proficiency with construction ERP systems (Vista by Trimble and Procore). Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments. Strategic mindset paired with hands-on problem-solving abilities. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required.
