Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our company's financial planning and operations. The CFO will be responsible for financial reporting, budget management, forecasting, and strategic financial planning to ensure the company's financial health and sustainability.
Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and Finance required, or related field Master's Degree (MBA, MHA) or CPA strongly preferred In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10+ years of relevant managerial experience and relevant experience required. 7-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
Strong knowledge of healthcare finance, including
GAAP, FQHC
regulations, and federal grant requirements, combined with expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Proficient in financial systems and data analytics, with the ability to manage multiple functions, delegate effectively, and ensure operational efficiency. Demonstrates strong analytical, mathematical, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to interpret, present, and act on financial and statistical information.
CFO Responsibilities:
Assist the CEO and Board with budgeting, financial strategy, and planning while ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and performance monitoring, including monthly updates and GAAP-compliant statements. Manage financial systems integrity, support growth initiatives, and provide guidance on sustainability, risk, and long-term financial planning.
Daily Financial Management Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements. Maintain financial systems, oversee budgeting and cash flow, and monitor expenditures across programs and funding sources. Supervise finance, billing, and administrative staff, enforce internal controls, and ensure compliance with government and grant regulations. Prepare and present financial reports, support audits, and handle claims management and credentialing oversight, while providing overall leadership of financial operations and related organizational functions.
