Type:

full-time We are partnering with a construction company in Quincy, MA who is looking to add a CFO to their team. This role will have ownership of both the accounting and finance functions and will play a key role in driving the company's financial strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will have strong construction industry experience, multi-state experience, and a hands-on approach to leading the finance organization. Responsibilities Own and oversee all accounting and finance functions for the organization Lead month-end, year-end, and financial reporting processes Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions Manage job costing, project profitability, and work-in-progress reporting Oversee banking, treasury, tax, audit, and insurance activities Ensure compliance with accounting standards and multi-state requirements Partner with operations and project leadership to improve financial performance Develop and monitor financial controls, processes, and reporting Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and overall financial efficiency Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience Construction industry experience required Experience overseeing both accounting and finance functions required Multi-state experience required Strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, and WIP Procore and Timberline experience preferred
