The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for ensuring that the financial support systems which serve the General Synod and its designated legal corporate entities such as General Synod Council (GSC), Board of Benefits Services (BOBS), and Church Growth Fund (CGF), function effectively in accordance with established financial policies and in compliance with legal and fiduciary requirements. The CFO is responsible for the strategic financial management of these assets, and will provide RCA governing bodies and their staff with timely, accurate, and adequate financial information, which shall inform current decisions and, to the highest degree possible, provide a rational basis for long range planning.
