We have an exciting on-site opportunity for an experienced "hands-on" financial leader.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for day-to-day financial stewardship and a key member of the executive team charged with refining and executing our strategic growth plans. Key Duties and Responsibilities- Support revenue growth through new product development cost modeling and strategic acquisitions.
- Sponsor business systems re-platforming and modernization (e-commerce and ERP), ensuring scope, budget, timeline, and accountability.
- Manage banking, treasury, loan covenant compliance and reporting, and payment approvals.
- Lead monthly and year-end close in compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and present a monthly financial package to the CEO including monthly budget to actual results with explanations of drivers behind significant variances.
- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team comprised of an Accounting Manager, and two Accounting Specialists (AP & AR).
- Ensure federal and state income tax and state sales and use tax compliance.
- Manage inventory costing process including development of annual standard costs, overhead rates, and cycle counting process.
- Maintain strong internal controls over cost accounting process to ensure accurate inventory valuation.
- Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Coordinate year-end audits and ensure timely completion. Key Skills and Abilities
- Standard costing proficiency within a manufacturing operation.
- Successful M&A experience. Experience evaluating strategic acquisitions, including financial due diligence, valuation analysis, integration planning, and assessment of strategic fit.
- Proven experience leading business systems modernization as a sponsor or senior finance leader, with a strong understanding of how financial and operational processes translate into system design. Knowledge of Shopify, Oracle, and/or Microsoft BC is a plus.
- Proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem solving and follow through.
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
- Strong background in financial planning and analysis, accounting operations, and internal controls.
