CFO

Minutemen Direct is recruiting a CFO for a large snow removal company. Pay is BOE $85K-$125K. Must have experience with snow management and risk mitigation. Directs the company's financial strategy, seasonal budgeting, and risk management. Because this industry relies heavily on unpredictable weather, their main goal is to protect profit margins, maintain off-season liquidity, and secure specialized insurance. You will be managing budgets and forecasting revenue, controlling costs, and approving major contracts. Must have QuickBooks experience.

Core Responsibilities Seasonal Budgeting & Forecasting:

Build financial models based on historical snowfall data to manage unpredictable revenue spikes and off-season cash flow shortages.

Risk & Insurance Management:

Mitigate the extreme liabilities inherent to snow and ice management (e.g., slip-and-fall claims) by overseeing complex corporate insurance policies and reviewing strict subcontractor agreements.

Job Costing & Profitability:

Analyze operational data—such as equipment depreciation, salt/chemical usage, and labor costs per inch—to ensure services are priced profitably.

Billing & Collections:

Streamline invoicing for "per-event" or "seasonal" contracts to accelerate cash flow while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax codes.

Capital & Fleet Management:

Manage debt financing, equipment leasing, and capital expenditures required to maintain heavy machinery (e.g., plows, salt spreaders)

Key Qualifications Industry Experience:

Proven track record in corporate finance, ideally within the landscaping, construction, or heavy-service sectors.

Analytical Prowess:

Deep understanding of cash flow optimization and risk mitigation in seasonal businesses.

Strategic Leadership:
