Job Summary:
Chief Financial Officer The Chief Financial Officer reports to the Chief Executive Officer and serves as a core member of the Senior Leadership and Executive Team. This role provides executive leadership and hands on oversight of all financial functions for Adapt Integrated Health Care, with a strong and explicit emphasis on fund accounting, grant accounting, and healthcare regulatory compliance. This position is responsible not only for strategic financial planning, but also for ensuring disciplined execution, internal controls, and accurate, timely financial reporting. The CFO is expected to be deeply engaged in the day-to-day realities of healthcare finance, including grants management, cost reporting, audit readiness, and financial transparency across programs. This role also ensures compliance with applicable federal and state regulatory agencies governing nonprofit and healthcare finance. This position is based in Roseburg, Oregon. Regular on-site presence is required to support operational leadership, financial oversight, and cross functional collaboration. - Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Significant senior level financial leadership experience, typically eight (8) or more years in healthcare, Federally Qualified Health Centers, or complex nonprofit environments with demonstrated accountability for enterprise level financial outcomes
- Demonstrated expertise in fund accounting and grant management
- Deep understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement structures, and regulatory reporting
- Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear, decision ready information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Health Administration, or Business Administration
- Prior experience serving as a Chief Financial Officer or equivalent senior finance executive in a highly regulated healthcare or nonprofit environment
- Experience partnering with Boards of Directors and executive leadership on financial strategy, risk, and sustainability
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
