In this pivotal role, you will oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering sustainable growth. Your leadership will drive financial strategy, risk management, and revenue optimization, empowering the organization to achieve its business objectives. As a key member of the executive team, you will shape corporate strategy, manage complex financial systems, and lead high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with corporate goals, including revenue management and profit maximization. Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and industry-specific regulations such as ASC 606 and COSO frameworks. Lead risk analysis initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks related to credit card operations, market fluctuations, and regulatory compliance. Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and banking relationships to support business growth and operational needs. Supervise financial reporting processes, ensuring timely preparation of accurate financial statements, regulatory reports, and internal management reports for senior leadership. Drive strategic planning efforts by developing financial projection models, conducting market analysis, and supporting mergers & acquisitions activities to expand the organization's portfolio. Oversee budgeting processes, expense control measures, cost management strategies, and financial forecasting analysis to optimize fiscal health. Lead a team of finance professionals in areas such as financial analysis, compliance, audit coordination (SOX), and business development initiatives. Requirements Extensive experience in finance leadership roles within the credit card or banking industry with a focus on credit card issuing or related financial services. Proven expertise in corporate finance, strategic management, and financial analysis with a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale accounting systems, financial software solutions, and implementing technical accounting standards such as ASC 606. Strong background in risk management practices including risk analysis for credit portfolios and market exposure. Experience with mergers & acquisitions, fundraising for business development projects, and strategic planning initiatives. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence senior executives through clear financial report writing and interpretation. Knowledge of SOX compliance requirements along with expertise in regulatory reporting processes. Excellent negotiation skills combined with a proactive approach to business analysis and supply chain considerations related to cost control.
