Los Angeles Area, CA (Hybrid) | Multi-State Operations Lead Finance Strategy for a Growing International Real Estate & Investment Platform An established international real estate investment and asset management organization is seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its U.S. finance organization during a period of significant growth and expansion. This executive leadership role offers a unique opportunity to oversee multi-entity operations, support new market expansion initiatives, lead M&A activities, and partner closely with senior executives across North America and Asia. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping financial strategy, strengthening operational infrastructure, and driving long-term business performance. What You'll Do Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth and expansion. Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and cash flow management. Provide financial insights, risk assessments, and recommendations to executive leadership. Establish and enhance governance, internal controls, and financial policies. Multi-Entity Financial Management Oversee accounting, reporting, treasury, and financial operations across multiple legal entities and investment structures. Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Manage consolidated reporting for domestic and international stakeholders. Maintain compliance with U.S. accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies. Real Estate & Investment Finance Support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing activities, and development projects. Oversee financial modeling, investment performance analysis, and capital allocation decisions. Manage investor reporting and distribution processes for real estate investment vehicles. Corporate Development & M&A Lead financial due diligence for acquisitions and strategic investments. Assess financial, operational, and tax risks associated with transactions. Drive post-acquisition integration efforts, including financial systems, controls, and reporting structures. Leadership & Team Development Lead and mentor accounting and finance professionals. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve business processes and operational efficiency. Growth & Expansion Initiatives Support expansion into new geographic markets and business ventures. Establish scalable financial infrastructure and reporting frameworks. Evaluate and implement process automation and technology enhancements. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. 15+ years of progressive finance, accounting, audit, or corporate finance experience. working experience in real estate industry Executive-level leadership experience overseeing multi-entity financial operations. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate governance practices. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and financial planning. Business-level fluency in both English and Japanese. Preferred Qualifications CPA designation strongly preferred. Experience within real estate, private equity, investment management, or asset management sectors. Exposure to international organizations and cross-border reporting environments. Experience supporting M&A transactions and integration activities. Familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems such as NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar platforms. Why Join Us?
