This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, risk analysis, regulatory reporting, and strategic planning. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, shaping the organization's financial strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and fostering a culture of fiscal responsibility. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in financial analysis, management, and corporate finance to propel our organization toward its long-term objectives. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals to maximize revenue management and profitability. Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and ASC 606 standards. Lead risk management initiatives by conducting thorough risk analysis and establishing robust internal controls in accordance with COSO frameworks. Manage treasury functions including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity management to support operational needs. Direct financial reporting processes, including preparation of accurate financial statements, regulatory reports, and internal management reports for executive decision-making. Oversee budgeting processes, expense control, cost management, and financial projection model development to ensure fiscal discipline. Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms to support strategic growth initiatives. Supervise finance teams across various functions such as governmental accounting, nonprofit accounting (if applicable), tax accounting, and supply chain finance. Drive business development efforts through fundraising initiatives and strategic partnerships that enhance organizational sustainability. Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and financial standards while maintaining high levels of integrity in financial practices. Qualifications Extensive experience in finance leadership roles such as CFO or Finance Director within complex organizations; experience in nonprofit or governmental sectors is a plus. Deep understanding of financial concepts including profit & loss management, revenue cycle management, expense control, and cost accounting. Proven expertise in financial analysis, forecasting analysis, financial statement interpretation, and developing financial models for strategic planning. Strong knowledge of SOX compliance requirements along with familiarity with
IFRS, GAAP
standards, IAS regulations, ASC 606 guidelines, and COSO frameworks. Demonstrated success in managing finance teams with supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment; excellent leadership skills are essential. Skilled in negotiation, business analysis, risk assessment, regulatory reporting, and industry knowledge of financial regulations. Proficiency with advanced accounting systems and financial software tools used for reporting and analysis. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to write clear financial reports and interpret complex data for diverse audiences.
