#3722 Chief Financial Officer with a publicly-traded company. Summary We are seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a dynamic, publicly-traded organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal leadership role oversees the company's financial strategy, accounting operations, and strategic planning on a global scale. The ideal candidate is a results-driven, entrepreneurial finance professional who can influence daily operations and contribute to long-term corporate success. This position offers a unique opportunity for a hands-on executive to lead financial initiatives within a fast-paced, acquisitive environment. Responsibilities Lead and supervise due diligence procedures related to potential acquisitions, ensuring smooth integration and compliance. Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop comprehensive executive dashboards to monitor financial health. Interpret financial results and partner with the CEO to shape the company's strategic direction. Manage cash flows proactively and ensure sufficient funding for operational needs. Oversee accounting and financial reporting functions to ensure accuracy, integrity, and adherence to GAAP and SEC requirements. Supervise the accounting team to ensure timely delivery of financial statements and footnotes. Drive cost reduction initiatives and revenue enhancement activities through strategic analysis and process improvements. Develop and implement accounting policies and controls suited for a publicly-traded enterprise. Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures ensuring compliance and accuracy. Support budgeting and forecasting efforts to align with strategic financial goals. Establish KPIs and develop dashboard tools from scratch to provide real-time financial insights. Partner with executive leadership to align financial strategies with company growth objectives. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance; CPA certification is required. Minimum of 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role at a publicly-traded company with revenues in the $5 to $20m range. Proven supervisory experience leading finance teams effectively. Strong background in establishing and implementing accounting policies and internal controls. Extensive hands-on experience with month-end and year-end closing procedures and financial reporting. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Demonstrated ability to develop KPIs and build executive dashboards from the ground up. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
