Job Description
Job Description Pathology Consultants, PC, a well-established multi-specialty physician-owned pathology laboratory located in Springfield, Oregon, is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented Chief Financial Officer. This Executive position will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, contracting, and revenue cycle management while serving on the Executive Leadership Team. In partnership with the COO and board president, this role will oversee the successful the company and drive growth in a complex healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex payer mix optimization and contract negotiations
- Build partnerships with payers
- Oversee revenue cycle operations
- Lead financial aspects of billing software optimization
- Review and manage physician compensation models and partnership agreements
- Create and present monthly financial reports to board
- Complete financial analysis and forecasting related to strategic business decisions
- Develop financial strategies balancing profit with operational obligations
- Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements in a healthcare setting including Medicare/Medicaid requirements
- Partner with Executive team to manage benefits Required Qualifications
- Financial Management experience in a health care setting
- Previous experience working with physicians
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
- Extensive experience in health care revenue cycle management
- Proven track record in all aspects of Finance including accounting, financial reporting, expense management and financial analysis
- Payer and vendor contracting experience
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present to board members
- Strong ethical and professional standards Preferred Qualifications
- Pathology and laboratory management experience strongly preferred

Pay:
$105,000.00 - $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:
