This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, shaping corporate strategy and ensuring financial integrity across all business units. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial analysis, compliance, and leadership within complex organizational environments, including non-profit sectors or industry-specific finance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the company's future trajectory through innovative financial stewardship and strategic insight. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Oversee corporate accounting functions, ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant regulations. Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparation of accurate financial statements, regulatory filings, and internal reports for stakeholders. Conduct risk analysis to identify potential financial threats and develop mitigation strategies in compliance with COSO (Committee of Sponsoring Organizations) frameworks. Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and investment strategies to optimize liquidity. Oversee budgeting processes, expense management, cost control initiatives, and financial projection model development to support strategic decision-making. Lead mergers & acquisitions activities by evaluating potential opportunities, conducting due diligence, and negotiating terms to facilitate business growth. Ensure compliance with industry-specific financial regulations such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), tax accounting standards, and other applicable legal requirements. Manage the finance team by providing leadership, mentorship, and supervision to foster a high-performance culture focused on accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with business development teams on fundraising efforts and revenue cycle management to enhance organizational sustainability. Interpret complex financial statements and analysis reports to inform executive decision-making and strategic planning. Experience Proven track record as a senior finance leader or finance director within large organizations or non-profit entities with extensive accounting systems experience. Deep understanding of corporate finance principles including profit & loss management, fiscal management, and cost management strategies. Demonstrated expertise in financial software applications such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or similar platforms. Strong background in regulatory reporting standards including GAAP, IFRS, IAS, and industry-specific compliance requirements like ASC 606. Experience leading risk management initiatives with familiarity in COSO frameworks and industry regulations governing financial practices. Skilled in financial modeling, forecasting analysis, strategic planning, and developing comprehensive financial report writing and interpretation skills. Effective leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments while fostering collaboration among senior leadership members. Knowledge of supply chain finance concepts alongside business analysis skills that support organizational growth initiatives. Ability to negotiate complex agreements confidently while maintaining a focus on fiscal responsibility and organizational objectives.
