Summary The Claims Analyst supports the claims organization by handling transactional claims activities and performing basic coverage review under supervision. The analyst will develop foundational knowledge of insurance policies, claims processes, and regulatory requirements while ensuring timely and accurate claim handling. Responsibilities Review and process low‑complexity claims in accordance with internal procedures and policy guidelines Perform minor coverage analysis using predefined rules and templates Input, update, and maintain accurate claim data in claims management systems Handle routine claim transactions such as documentation review, correspondence, and status updates Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders regarding claim status Identify missing information and follow established procedures to request documentation Ensure claims are handled in compliance with company standards, service timelines, and regulatory requirements Escalate exceptions, discrepancies, or potential issues to senior team members or supervisors Participate in initial and ongoing training to build claims knowledge and technical skills Qualifications Bachelor's degree (or equivalent college education) in any field No prior claims or insurance experience required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow structured processes and guidelines Proficiency (Microsoft Office Product Suite) Clear written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and apply insurance and claims concepts We are an E-Verify employer - all hired positions require successfully passing an E-Verify Check.
