Publix is seeking a General Liability Claims Assistant to support our Risk Management team at our corporate office in Lakeland, Florida. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and claims support to a team of adjusters handling both litigated and non-litigated claims, helping ensure efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional service. Responsibilities include:
Provide administrative and claims support to multiple claims adjusters and leadership Process incoming demand packages, including scanning media and verifying files for security Route claim materials appropriately and upload documentation for review Assist with preparation of initial drafts of non-litigated settlement documents Support managers and supervisors with ad hoc projects, data corrections, and reporting needs Maintain accurate and organized documentation within internal systems
