This position will supervise the Investigations team.

Example of Duties:

Reviews and evaluates complaints and inquiries regarding the practice and related activities of licensed and unlicensed practitioners and assigns complaints, inspections and other work to staff and/or refers to other entities to investigate Reviews and evaluates inspection and investigative output Assists the boards' administrative prosecutors and/or legal authorities in case preparation Identifies and schedules appropriate training Makes recommendations for hires Evaluates performance of investigators and inspectors Regularly meets with investigators and inspectors located in the office and around the state and provides guidance with investigation strategies and inspections Interprets and applies laws and regulations and explains them to others Develops and maintains investigative and inspection policies and procedures Prepares reports Minimum Qualifications Good knowledge of rules of evidence and court or administrative hearing procedures; supervisory practices.

Experience:

conducting criminal or fraud investigations; reviewing and analyzing financial records; providing testimony in court related situations.
