Job Title:
Claims Recovery Specialist Job Description As a Claims Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and processing insurance claims with a focus on deductible eligibility. You will ensure accurate data entry, maintain organized digital files, and prepare detailed reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards. Responsibilities Review insurance claims for deductible eligibility. Enter claim data into internal systems and update records as needed. Assist in calculating and applying policy deductibles, depreciation, and other allowable deductions. Maintain organized digital claim files. Maintain accurate records of all deductibles and ensure they are properly reflected in claim summaries and payment documentation. Monitor deductible status and follow up on outstanding documentation or approvals. Prepare reports related to deductibles trends, claim adjustments, and payment reconciliations. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards. Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience working with insurance claims or deductions. Familiarity with insurance terminology, especially related to deductibles and coverage. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and claims management systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in cash application, reconciliation, and accounts receivable. Work Environment Work in a flexible environment with a hybrid schedule: in-office Tuesday to Thursday and work-from-home on Monday and Friday. The hours are 9 AM to 5:30 PM. Join a collaborative team comprising one manager, four accounts receivable professionals, and three specialists. This position is moving extremely fast as this is an urgent need for the client. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Morristown, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
