Subrogation Specialist (Plaintiff Personal Injury)
Location:
Tacoma, WA or Renton, WA (Hybrid)
Salary:
$70,000 - $95,000 DOEPosition OverviewThe Subrogation Specialist plays a critical role in the lifecycle of our cases, ensuring accurate and timely resolution of all medical liens, government claims, and final disbursements. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and has a deep understanding of personal injury case closing processes.

This role may be based in either our Tacoma or Renton office, with a hybrid work option available.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and resolve medical subrogation claims and liens (ERISA, private insurance, hospital liens, etc.)Handle Medicare (MSP) claims, including conditional payment resolution and final demand negotiationCoordinate with providers, insurers, and government entities to ensure accurate lien payoff amountsPrepare and review final case accountings, ensuring all balances are verified and compliantExecute client disbursements in a timely and accurate mannerMaintain detailed records of lien negotiations, reductions, and communicationsCollaborate with attorneys, case managers, and accounting staff to ensure seamless case closuresIdentify discrepancies and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays in settlement distributionQualifications3+ years of experience handling:
