About the Role We're seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Claim Consultant to manage a remote, multiple-account desk handling claims in New York and New Jersey . This role focuses on proactive claims management with no travel required, a structured workday, and the opportunity to work with a supportive and experienced team. Responsibilities What You'll Do Handle workers' compensation claims from start to finish in accordance with NY laws and client-specific guidelines. Manage a varied caseload across multiple accounts and industries. Set and recommend reserves within authority levels. Review and process payments, settlements, and medical/legal bills. Collaborate with attorneys, vendors, and case managers to move claims forward. Prepare timely reports on claim status, reserves, and payments. Represent CCMSI at hearings, mediations, and legal proceedings as needed (virtually). Provide outstanding service that meets our internal standards and exceeds client expectations.

Qualifications What You Bring Required:

5+ years of experience adjusting New York Workers' Compensation claims. New York Adjuster's License (must be active). In-depth knowledge of New York Workers' Compensation law. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organization and communication skills.

Preferred:

Experience handling multi-jurisdictional workers' comp claims. Familiarity with New Jersey workers' compensation laws. Why You'll Love Working at CCMSI ✅
