Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster | AZ License

Insurance Placement Solutions (IPS) has an immediate opening for a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner with our client in the North Scottsdale, Arizona area. This position will begin as an in-office role during the training period and transition to a hybrid schedule after training, with two days remote and three days in the office. In this role, you'll manage workers' compensation claims from inception through resolution, investigating, evaluating, and resolving lost-time and litigated claims in accordance with state statutes, policy provisions, and company guidelines. Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner Responsibilities Investigate workers' compensation claims by reviewing coverage, liability, and relevant documentation Manage claims from start to finish, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution Evaluate claim exposure and set or recommend appropriate reserves within authority limits Negotiate and process settlements in accordance with company guidelines Ensure claim payments are issued accurately and on time Maintain detailed claim documentation and diary notes to track claim progress Ensure all claims handling complies with state statutes, regulatory requirements, and company procedures Communicate effectively with claimants, employers, attorneys, medical providers, and other stakeholders Qualifications 1-3 years of experience handling lost-time workers' compensation claims Experience handling Arizona workers' compensation claims required Strong knowledge of workers' compensation statutes and claims processes Licensing An active Arizona adjuster license About Insurance Placement Solutions Insurance Placement Solutions is a staffing and recruiting firm specializing in the insurance industry, including workers' compensation claims positions nationwide.
