Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster to join our team! In this vital role, you will evaluate insurance claims, investigate incidents, and determine appropriate settlements with precision and integrity. Your expertise will ensure fair and accurate claims processing while providing exceptional service to our policyholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact by resolving complex cases efficiently and ethically, all while maintaining compliance with industry standards and legal requirements. Responsibilities Review and assess insurance claims related to auto, workers' compensation, or property damage to determine coverage eligibility. Conduct thorough investigations by analyzing reports, interviewing claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties to gather essential information. Detect potential fraud through advanced fraud prevention and detection techniques, ensuring the integrity of the claims process. Utilize auto estimating tools and financial software to accurately calculate damages and settlement amounts. Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, or third-party providers to reach fair resolutions that align with company policies. Maintain organized records of all claim activities, correspondence, and documentation for audit purposes. Stay updated on workers' compensation law and industry regulations to ensure compliance in all claims handling procedures. Qualifications Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a similar role within insurance or related fields. Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information quickly and accurately. Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding customer service abilities to foster positive relationships with clients. Knowledge of workers' compensation law and procedures is highly preferred. Proficiency in using financial software and auto estimating tools for damage assessment. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple claims efficiently while adhering to deadlines. Familiarity with fraud prevention techniques and detection methods is a plus. Pay:
$56,827.04 - $68,436.87 per year
