Job Description
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Compliance Manager opportunity with our client. Founded in 1995 and headquartered in California, the company is a top leader in Non‐QM and a trusted partner across Wholesale and Correspondent lending channels. The Compliance Manager is responsible for below specific duties.
Your specific duties will include:
Serve as subject matter expert on mortgage compliance, including TRID, ECOA, HMDA, ATR/QM, RESPA, and Fair Lending laws. Exercise independent discretion in interpreting regulatory guidance and advising business leaders on compliance-related matters. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, controls, and monitoring frameworks. Oversee first-line-of-defense compliance controls, reporting, and documentation. Identify, document, and escalate compliance risks to senior leadership. Monitor regulatory updates and assess operational impact to ensure ongoing compliance. Lead internal compliance audits and support regulatory examinations. Manage, mentor, and develop compliance team members, including performance management and ongoing training. Collaborate cross-functionally with business units to ensure adherence to compliance requirements. Required qualifications for the position include : Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of progressive experience in mortgage compliance. Prior experience managing or leading compliance staff . Strong working knowledge of conventional, government, and non-agency compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion on significant matters. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Pay Rate Range :
$120,000 - 150,000+ annually Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
