Candidate(s) selected for the position must be able to pass an extensive background check. The person fulfilling this position must be capable of learning to perform the following, but not limited to : Knowledge of machine conversions, installation, movement and upgrades. Assists in completing appropriate paperwork when shipments arrive. Assists in kobetroning EPROMS in comparison to Gaming Laboratory International standards and with the logging of all Kobetron readings and results. Provides forms for gaming certification; maintains files for machines and conversions consisting of Slot Control Worksheet, GLI letters, status reports, PAR (percentage average rate) sheet and Access form for active slot files. Assists in updating agency shipments, devices and information including gaming machines, game EPROMS, and BV (bill validator) chips. Assists in providing the Department of Gaming with applicable machine information (i.e. location, asset number, game name, serial number and EPROM information). Implements policy and procedures to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Prepares and approves Compliance Inspector work schedules. Communicate activities to oncoming supervisory personnel and the Compliance Manager of daily operational concerns. Work with TMC slot department and / or Vendor mechanics by observing Logic Area and EPROM access and control. Ensures Compliance Inspectors are adequately trained and adhere to all applicable tribal, federal and state regulations, policies, procedures and reporting requirements. Reviews and summarize the end of shift reports. Reports observed violations or concerns and conduct investigations. Enforces the Tribal Gaming MICS, rules, regulations, policies and procedures and other applicable tribal, casino, federal or state rules, regulations, policies or procedures. Observes and documents by written detailed reports with recommendations for areas of ineffective control, including proposals for revisions of tribal procedures and regulations when needed. Supervises, coordinates and schedules the daily activities of Compliance personnel assigned to the Supervisor's shift and ensures that all assignments are accomplished in a manner consistent with departmental policies, procedures, standards. Reviews Compliance Inspector Incident reports to ensure proper format. Prepares and compiles weekly reports when appropriate. Conducts ongoing training to ensure the Compliance Inspectors' knowledge of their job responsibilities and duties are current and up to date, and periodically evaluate the accuracy of the Compliance Inspectors' knowledge and job skills. May perform functions of subordinate positions as required. Performs such other duties as requested. Supervisory Responsibilities Supervise assigned shift and personnel. Responsibilities may also include assisting with interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications/Requirements Associates Degree or equivalent college or vocational school credits preferred. Four or more years of prior regulatory compliance or gaming experience is preferred. Prior supervisory experience will be considered along with other relevant educational or work experience that demonstrates an ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Compliance Shift Supervisor. Candidates selected for the position must be able to pass an extensive background check.
