Job Description
Job Purpose:
The RXL Quality Manager is responsible for leading quality assurance across our 2 manufacturing facilities, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. This role ensures product quality, compliance, and process consistency through effective quality systems and controls. The Manager drives continuous improvement, supplier quality performance, and operational excellence acrossRXL. IMS
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the Employee Handbook, Group Code of Conduct, the Group Compliance Policy, the IMS Policy, and all other applicable company policies and procedures. Maintain awareness of the requirements of, and their individual contribution to and impact on the effectiveness of, the Integrated Management System (IMS), including Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental and Product Compliance objectives and requirements. Report on unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, incidents, and injuries, quality issues, compliance concerns, violations to the appropriate personnel without delay. Participate in required training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance Responsibilities As the nominated Compliance Manager/Lead, you are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Compliance Management System within your Division/Business Unit. This includes maintaining the Product Compliance Register, managing internal compliance audits, monitoring product performance, submitting compliance reports, delivering compliance training, and escalating concerns to the Kingspan Group Compliance Team (RXLs Parent Company). You will lead cross-functional compliance activities and ensure alignment and certification ownership withISO 37301 & 90001.
Essential Job Functions:
Quality Assurance & Compliance Management Develop and maintain quality control procedures aligned with engineering drawings and specifications. Conduct shop-floor audits ensuring adherence to quality standards and manufacturing processes. Oversee inspection processes, nonconforming material handling, and calibration system effectiveness. Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory and product specifications. Supplier Quality & Quality Management Develop and manage supplier quality assurance programs ensuring vendor performance and compliance. Ensure material traceability and drive corrective actions for supplier quality issues. Support new product launches by implementing quality processes during product qualification stages. Oversee product testing ensuring compliance with internal and external performance specifications. Continuous Improvement & Team Development Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce operational costs. Develop and deliver training programs ensuring team competency and quality standards adherence. Prepare and present quality performance reports to leadership on a regular basis. Skills, education & experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required. 5+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing environments. Strong experience developing and implementing quality management systems and procedures. Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and process variability measurement techniques. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies (Lean Six Sigma preferred). Experience with SPC systems and automated data collection tools preferred. Strong understanding of PPAP and quality standards in manufacturing environments. Knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, welding, coating, and assembly preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Pay:
