ACTS-Aviation Security Inc. has an immediate opening for a Public Safety Officer (PSO) Compliance & Training Supervisor at Denver International Airport, Colorado. Identifies and delivers training to PSO's to ensure compliance. Leads & directs the PSO work group to meet the needs of the program Coordinates with management on changes to PSO curriculum & training Must be able to flex their time to accommodate needs on every shift for any amount of time; i.e. go where the need is. Position must adhere to and promote ACTS-Aviation Security, Inc. commitment to quality of service, compliance with customer specifications and government agency regulations and focus on safety and security in the work environment as described in ACTS-Aviation Security policies. Coordinates with recruiting team to establish and facilitate hiring of PSO's Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to ACTS management as appropriate and/or required.
  • Regularly meet with Operations Managers to coordinate PSO activities.
Ensure that all
ACTS DEN PSO
are trained in the functions they are performing.
  • Ensure that all
ACTS DEN PSO
receive OJT in the functions they are performing.
  • Coordinating with
DEN AS PQCT
Manager, audits training files and ensures accuracy of records
  • Manages and ensures conformance with company policies and Airport/TSA regulations relating to execution & training of the PSO group.
  • Ensure that the Training Matrix is updated and accurate at all times.
  • Conduct training in Specific Training Modules (STMs) as required
  • Ensure compliance with all TSA training record retention requirements
  • Upload training documents to SharePoint, ensuring recency and providing remedial training when required
  • Conducts a full review of
ACTS DEN
training materials twice a year to ensure content is accurate and up to date o Coordinates with
DEN AS PQCT
Manager to update materials as needed
  • Routine compliance monitoring activities to support station with meeting compliance targets
  • Provide operational assistance as needed
Education:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent. (Bachelor's degree in aviation management, Security Management, Law Enforcement, or a closely related field is preferable)
  • 3 years of operational Airport Security, PSO, training and compliance experience or a combination of the above
  • Supervisor experience
  • 2 years of experience delivering training
  • Thorough knowledge of operations management, training and auditing
  • Highly skilled at inspecting, testing and conducting analysis
  • Ability to judge, evaluate and monitor performances
  • Ability to take responsibility and be accountable
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to present technical information in clear formats.
